Portuguese designer Pedro Almeida reminds us how important visual communication is in this project in which he strips away different parts of some famous brand logos and leaving only the main colors and their unique lines and shapes. What is the first thing that pops into your head when you think about a famous company or business? He asks us in this project‘s description. ‘Their logo’, he continues.
Indeed, it doesn’t take much to tell which brands these minimalist logos represent and that says a lot about how much we are exposed to them. It also says that, by minimalizing something, our brains can still easily recognize the object in question giving credit to the, by now famous expression, less is more.
